The canneed “CLT-600 LeakTester for can ” is used for checking the permeability of 3-piececans in a water bath. The can is fixed to magnet disc plate andsubmerged into the water. At the same time it is subjected topressure and leaks are revealed by air bubbles. End and side seamsvisible.

A special parallel clamping systemenables to measure different diameters and heights with one device.The clamping pressure and the test pressure may be setindependantly.

The operator determines the periodof time the cans are under water. If he switches the by-pass leverand presses the two button valves, the cans deaerate and are liftedout of the water.The whole test cycle is automated and ispneumatically controlled by pressure regulator valves.
