Differences between the EVG 2 and the EVG 3:
EVG 3: Floating control inputs are possible, as is semiautomatic adaptation to supply voltage.
EVG 2: Low leakage current (for medial applications), starter can be integrated.

The ballast's output is electrical connected to the mains power input. The devices are designed as open components for installation into a housing.
