Antigen Expression: CD5 +; CD32 +; CD45R +
Comments: The NFS-25 C-3 cell line was derived from a spontaneous lymphoma.
The cells bear markers consistent with identification as large pre-B lymphoblasts [(Ly 17, CD32), (Ly 1, CD5), (Lyb 2, Ly 5(B220), CD45R)].
They are negative for ThB, surface immunoglobulin (sIg) and Ia, tested, and found negative for ectromelia virus (mousepox).
Propagation: ATCC complete growth medium: Dulbecco's modified Eagle's medium with 10 mM HEPES, 3 mM glutamine, 1 mM oxaloacetic acid, 0.2 units/ml insulin, 0.5 mM sodium pyruvate, 0.05 mM 2-mercaptoethanol, 2 mcg/ml transferrin, 80%; NCTC medium 109, 10%; fetal bovine serum, 10%
NFS-25 C-3细胞Temperature: 37.0°C
Subculturing: Medium Renewal: Every 2 to 3 days
Cultures can be maintained by addition or replacement of fresh medium. Maintain cell concentration between 1 X 10 exp5 and 1 X 10 exp6 cells/ml.
Preservation: Freeze medium: 82.5% complete growth medium; 10% FBS; 7.5% DMSO.
Storage temperature: liquid nitrogen vapor phase
