Applications: transfection host
Receptors: androgen receptor, positive; glucocorticoid; alpha 1 adrenergic; beta 2 adrenergic
Gender: male
Comments: DDT1 MF-2细胞Growth of DDT1 MF-2 cells is stimulated by androgens and inhibited by glucocorticoids.
Glucocorticoids inhibit the expression of the c-sis (SIS) proto-oncogene.
Beta-2-adrenergic (beta 2 adrenergic) receptor activity is functionally coupled to adenyl cyclase.
Propagation: ATCC complete growth medium: The base medium for this cell line is ATCC-formulated Dulbecco's Modified Eagle's Medium, Catalog No. 30-2002. To make the complete growth medium, add the following components to the base medium: fetal bovine serum to a final concentration of 10%.
Subculturing: Subcultivation Ratio: A subcultivation ratio of 1:20 is recommended
Medium Renewal: 2 to 3 times per week
To dislodge adherent cells, remove all but 5 to 10 ml of medium and vigorously shake flask. Add fresh medium, aspirate and dispense into new flasks. DDT1 MF-2细胞Subcultures may also be prepared using standard trypsinization procedures.
Preservation: Freeze medium: complete growth medium, 95%; DMSO, 5%
