HCC1007 BL细胞Applications: HCC1008 was initiated from a 67 year old Black female with a TNM stage IIA, grade 3 metastatic carcinoma; metastatic site: lymph node.
Age: 67 years *****
Gender: female
Ethnicity: Black
Comments: HCC1007BL is a B lymphoblastoid cell line initiated by Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) transformation of peripheral blood lymphocytes obtained from the same patient as the breast carcinoma cell line HCC1008.
HCC1008 was initiated from a 67 year old Black female with a TNM stage IIA, grade 3 metastatic carcinoma; metastatic site: lymph node.
HCC1008 is available as CRL-2320.
Propagation: ATCC complete growth medium: The base medium for this cell line is ATCC-formulated RPMI-1640 Medium, Catalog No. 30-2001. To make the complete growth medium, add the following components to the base medium: fetal bovine serum to a final concentration of 10%.
Temperature: 37.0°C
Subculturing: Protocol: Cultures can be maintained by addition of fresh medium or replacement of medium. Alternately, cultures can be established by centrifugation with subsequent resuspension at 3 to 5 X 10 exp5 viable cells/ml. Maintain cell density between 3 X 10 exp5 and 1 X 10 exp6 viable cells/ml.
Medium Renewal: Add fresh medium every 3 to 4 days (depending on cell density)
Preservation: Freeze medium: HCC1007 BL细胞Complete growth medium 95%; DMSO, 5%
Storage temperature: liquid nitrogen vapor phase
Related Products: Recommended medium (without the additional supplements or serum described under ATCC Medium):ATCC 30-2001
recommended serum:ATCC 30-2020
tumor cell line established from the same patient:ATCC CRL-2320
purified DNA:ATCC CRL-2319D
purified RNA:ATCC CRL-2319R
