Comments: TE8细胞Animals were immunized with human thymic stroma.
Spleen cells were fused with P3X63Ag8.653 myeloma cells.
The antibody reacts with cells forming the outer swirls of Hassall's bodies.
It defines an antigen that is acquired between 14 and 16 weeks of fetal gestation, and marks the terminal stages of epidermal keratinocyte maturation.
The antibody binds specifically to cells forming the outer swirls of Hassall's bodies and also to stratum granulosum of skin epidermis and foreskin.
Propagation: ATCC complete growth medium: Dulbecco's modified Eagle's medium with 4.5 g/L glucose, 80%; heat-inactivated fetal bovine serum, 20%
Subculturing: TE8细胞Medium Renewal: Every 2 to 3 days
Cultures can be maintained by addition or replacement of fresh medium. Start cultures at 2 X 10 exp5 cells/ml and maintain between 1 X 10 exp5 and 1 X 10 exp6 cells/ml.
