Virus Resistance: poliovirus 1
Comments: The cells are positive for keratin by immunoperoxidase staining.
The cells are negative for bovine viral diarrhea virus (BVDV). [22883]
Propagation: ATCC complete growth medium: Medium 199 with 1.12 g/L sodium bicarbonate, 90%; horse serum, 10%
Temperature: 37.0°C
Subculturing: Protocol: Please note, this cell line is extremely sensitive to trypsin.Remove the spent medium, and rinse the monolayer with fresh 0.25% trypsin, 0.53 mM EDTA solution. LLC-RK1细胞Remove the trypsin, add fresh trypsin and let the culture sit at room temperature (or at 37C) until the cells detach (about 10 minutes). Transfer the cell suspension to a centrifuge tube, and spin at approximately 125 x g for 5 to 10 minutes. Remove the supernatant, add fresh medium to the pellet, aspirate and dispense into new flasks.
Subcultivation Ratio: A subcultivation ratio of 1:4 to 1:8 is recommended
Medium Renewal: Twice per week
