Comments: B72.3细胞Animals were immunized with membrane enriched fractions of extracts from either of two human breast tumor metastases to the liver (Met 1 and Met 2).
Spleen cells were fused with NS-1 myeloma cells.
The antibody reacts with extracts of Met 1 but not Met 2 or with live BT-20 (ATCC HTB-19), MCF7 (ATCC HTB-22) and ZR-75-1 (ATCC CRL-1500) mammary carcinoma cells or with liver extracts or a variety of live normal and sarcoma cells.
Propagation: ATCC complete growth medium: The base medium for this cell line is ATCC Hybri-Care Medium, Catalog No. 46-X. Hybri-Care Medium is supplied as a powder and should be reconstituted in 1 L cell-culture-grade water and supplemented with 1.5 g/L sodium bicarbonate. To make the complete growth medium, add the following components to the base medium: fetal bovine serum to a final concentration of 10%.
Subculturing: Medium Renewal: 3 times per week
B72.3细胞Cultures can be maintained by addition or replacement of fresh medium. Start cultures at 2 X 10 exp5 cells/ml and maintain between 1 X 10 exp5 and 1 X 10 exp6 cells/ml.
Preservation: culture medium, 95; DMSO, 5%
