Comments: Animals were immunized with recombinant human luteinizing hormone/human chorionic gonadotropin (LH/hCG) receptor expressed in E. coli.
Spleen cells were fused with Sp2/0 mouse myeloma cells.
The antibody recognizes the extracellular domain (hormone binding domain) of the LH/hCG receptor, (amino acids domain 21-362).
The LHR-29 (ATCC CRL-2685), LHR-74 (ATCC CRL-2686) and LHR-1055 (ATCC CRL-2687) antibodies are additive. They recognize different epitopes.

Cultures can be maintained by the addition of fresh medium or replacement of medium. Alternatively, cultures can be established by centrifugation with subsequent resuspension at 2 X 10 exp5 viable cells/ml.
Maintain cell density between 2 X 10 exp5 and 1 X 10 exp6 viable cells/ml.
