Comments: GA-10 (Clone 4) is a subclone of the GA-10 (ATCC CRL-2392) cell line derived by culturing the parental line on a feeder layer.
GA-10 was derived in 1996 from lymphoma cells circulating in the peripheral blood of a patient with a clinically aggressive, chemo-refractory Burkitt's Lymphoma.
The patient had been treated unsuccessfully with cyclophosphamide, hydroxydaunomycin, vincristine, and prednisone (CHOP chemotherapy).
This clone of cells also appears to express high levels of CD77 (approximately 90%); CD77 is also known as Burkitt's lymphoma antigen (BLA).
GA-10 (Clone-4) cells exhibit sensitivity to Shiga Toxin (Stx) in toxicity studies.
Propagation: GA-10 (Clone 4)细胞ATCC complete growth medium: The base medium for this cell line is ATCC-formulated RPMI-1640 Medium, Catalog No. 30-2001. To make the complete growth medium, add the following components to the base medium: fetal bovine serum to a final concentration of 10%.

Cultures can be maintained by addition of fresh medium or replacement of medium. Alternatively, cultures can be established by centrifugation with subsequent resuspension in fresh medium at 5 x 10 exp5 viable cells/ml.
Maintain cultures at cell concentrations between 5 X 10 exp5 and 2 X 10 exp6 viable cells/ml.
