This long-established laboratory best-seller from IKA® now features an adjustable safety circuit for the heating plate temperature for the range: 50 – 380°C. This stirrer has a DIN 12878 bush for connection to an electronic contact thermometer such as the ETS D 4 fuzzy. The new version incorporates improved heating control to guarantee top class safety. The fully enclosed design with a IP 42 rating guarantees a long service life. The heating plate (diameter 135 mm) is made from highly polished Silumin to ensure optimum heat transfer. Heat output is 600 W. The high magnetic adhesion prevents rapid cracking of the magnetic bars. The stirrer is supplied complete with an H 99 protection cover. Stirring quantity (H20) for this unit is 20 litres.
