简单介绍:
Anti-FANCA (phospho-S1149) Antibody
详情介绍:
Overview
Name: | Anti-FANCA (phospho-S1149) Antibody See all FANCA primary antibodies
|
Description: | Rabbit polyclonal antibody to FANCA (phospho-S1149) |
Specificity: | p-FANCA (S1149) pAb detects endogenous levels of FANCA protein only when phosphorylated at Ser1149. |
Applications: | WB, IHC, ICC, IP |
Reactivity: | Human, Mouse, Rat |
Immunogen: | Synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human FANCA around the phosphorylation site of Serine 1149. |
Host: | Rabbit |
Clonality: | Polyclonal |
Conjugate: | Unconjugated |
Molecular Weight: | ~ 163 kDa |
Purity: | The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE). |
Product Form: | 1 mg/ml in Phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, approx. pH 7.2. |
Target
Function: | DNA repair protein that may operate in a postreplication repair or a cell cycle checkpoint function. May be involved in interstrand DNA cross-link repair and in the maintenance of normal chromosome stability. |
Involvement in Disease: | Fanconi anemia, complementation group A: A disorder affecting all bone marrow elements and resulting in anemia, leukopenia and thrombopenia. It is associated with cardiac, renal and limb malformations, dermal pigmentary changes, and a predisposition to the development of malignancies. At the cellular level it is associated with hypersensitivity to DNA-damaging agents, chromosomal instability (increased chromosome breakage) and defective DNA repair. |
Post-Translational Modification: | Phosphorylation is required for the formation of the nuclear complex. Not phosphorylated in cells derived from groups A, B, C, E, F, G, and H. |
Cellular Location: | Nucleus. Cytoplasm. The major form is nuclear. The minor form is cytoplasmic. |
