Specific activity: approx. 6 U/mg lyophilizate at 25°C with glycogen as the substrate
Specificity: cleaves terminal glucoses that are α1,4- or α1,6-linked to an oligo- or polysaccharide of multiple glucose units. The product is D-glucose.
Lyophilizate, stabilized with sodium citrate.
Contaminants:<0.001 U β-glucanase/mg lyophilizate (azobarleyglucan as the substrate), <0.05% β-fructosidase, α- and β-galactosidase, and 6-PGDH, each <0.005% PGI; contains <1 µg glucose/mg lyophilizate.
