Thermo Scientific Pierce Fluoraldehyde (OPA) Reagent is a ready-to-use solution of o-phthalaldehyde, a fluorescent pre- or post-column derivatization reagent for peptide or amino acid detection and quantitation in HPLC.
Highlights:
- A highly sensitive fluorescent pre- or post-column reagent for amino acid detection and quantitation
- Provides an accurate measure of both composition and absolute protein/peptide content
- Ideal when working with recombinant proteins, synthetic peptides and other “next generation” applications
- Reacts with all primary amine-containing analytes
- All primary amino acids react, resulting in highly fluorescent isoindole derivatives for HPLC analysis
- High sensitivity; low background
- Can be injected into your LC with no further processing
- Can be used for fluorescent protein or peptide assay
Product Details:
