The Agilent J1408A OmniBER 725 communications performance analyzer provides BER functional test capability for all SONET/SDH rates, and offers unframed PRBS, optical and electrical interfaces.

Full SONET capability at OC-48, OC-12, OC-3, OC-1, STS-3 and STS-1
Unframed PRBS generation at 2.5 Gb/s, 622 Mb/s, 155 Mb/s and 52 Mb/s
Optical and electrical inputs and outputs at all standard rates to 2.5 Gb/s
Payload concatenation
Full overhead access
SmartSetup and SmartTest capability
Remote Control by GPIB, LAN and RS-232
