因为有钻石台面（见图示），所以正确拿取切片变得很容易；可以用取片器直接从钻石台面收集切片。

35° 的切削角度大大降低了切削过程中刀刃对样本的机械挤压，因此对于有蔗糖保护的样本更能较好的保持原有的结构。

切片厚度：30nm－1um

刀刃尺寸：2.0mm－3.0mm
