Immunogen:	Clone M010 was generated from a proprietary antigen related to the extracellular region of human CD44.from the A431 epidermoid carcinoma cell line.

Tissue Specificity	Detected in fibroblasts and urine (at protein level). Detected in placenta (at protein level). Isoform 10 (epithelial isoform) is expressed by cells of epithelium and highly expressed by carcinomas. Expression is repressed in neuroblastoma cells.
Post Translational Modifications	Proteolytically cleaved in the extracellular matrix by specific proteinases (possibly MMPs) in several cell lines and tumors. N-glycosylated.
