An I/O unit consists of "I/O Adaptors and a Nest for I/O Adaptor" or "multi-channel I/O modules (1 to 4 units)," which interfaces field signals to NIU. From CENTUM VP R6.03 and later, the I/O unit is available. The A2BA3D Nest for I/O Adaptor is used for upgrading the AMN11 or AMN12 nest for analog I/O module for RIO.
