Connection Heads

To connect the measuring inserts mounted inside the protective armatures connection heads in various designs are used. The following illustration shows the most common designs.

Connection heads with elevated cap are suitable for mounting one or two transmitters (forms BKD-SPH resp. BKD-RPH). Available are also plastic connection heads with screw cap (form BKK) and flap cap (BKK-RPH). The standard cable gland at all connection heads is M20 x 1.5 (PG16). The standard protection classification for all connection heads is IP 43. Other protection classifications (e.g. IP 54/65/66) as well as connection heads of other materials are available on request
