Wedeco WEDGO, founded in Germany in 1976, is one of the top ten brands of ozone generators, a world-renowned water technology enterprise, and a large global manufacturer of ultraviolet disinfection systems and ozone oxidation systems. Wedeco was founded in 1976, located in Herford, Germany, and developed halogen-free and environment-friendly water treatment technologies, including ultraviolet and ozone systems. There are more than 250,000 Wedeco systems used for ultraviolet disinfection and ozone oxidation in private, public utilities and industrial sites all over the world. Wedeco introduced ozone technology in 1988 and has been expanding internationally since then. UV disinfection system has many applications, including water treatment and aquaculture. Ozone disinfection system is suitable for drinking water, waste water, process water, product polishing, bleaching, ozone decomposition/synthesis and deodorization. Wedeco UV system provides customers with alternative environmentally harmful chemicals for disinfection, including chlorine, chlorine dioxide and hypochlorite. Ultraviolet disinfection adapts to the natural action of sunlight, and is extremely versatile. Ultraviolet light can be used to disinfect water and destroy harmful microorganisms in other liquids, surfaces and air. Wedeco UV system is suitable for disinfection of drinking water, process water, waste water, salt water, ultrapure water and other translucent liquids such as syrup. Ozone is one of the strongest oxidants in industrial production, and is usually used for water treatment in municipal and industrial applications. The special advantage of ozone is its environment-friendly working mode. Harmful substances, colors, odors and microorganisms are directly destroyed by oxidation, without forming harmful chlorination by-products. Besides treating drinking water and wastewater, Xylem's Wedeco ozone system is used in bleaching processes, such as paper bleaching and other industrial oxidation processes. Xylem's Wedeco brand also provides advanced oxidation process (AOP) solutions aimed at eliminating various toxic compounds and microscopic pollutants. Xylem's Wedeco pre-designed AOP system is based on three key components-ozone, hydrogen peroxide and ultraviolet light generated by low-voltage and high-intensity bulb technology. By combining these technologies, Xylem can meet the individual needs of customers.
