The compact drive connection box KCU is designed to facilitate power supply routing from the IndraDrive converter DC bus or a supply unit, as well as supply control voltage to the IndraDrive Mi. It can enable a flexible connection of up to 20 IndraDrive Mi units in a single drive chain, with a maximum cable length of 200 m, without touching the cabinet. In situations when the operation of multiple parallel IndraDrive Mi drive chains is necessary, several KCUs can be connected to a single supply unit. In addition the KCU also features built-in fuses for protecting the DC bus connection.
