System for automatic and active injection of very small sample volumes into ICP-MS / OES systems for ultra-trace analysis of elements and isotops with maximal reproducability and lowest detection levels.

The system contains out of two units:

1.Table-top unit at ICP-MS with
a) Peristaltic tump (for remote sample delivery)
b) 2-Way 10-port valvel (for sample and tuning loop)
c) Detectorbox for sample capillaries

2. Supply unit:
a) 4-Way 5-Port-Valve (loading for syringe pump)
d) Metal- and glass-free syringe pump with delivery rate of 20µL - 8 mL/min
b) Microprocessor unit and control board
c) Step motor control board (for peristaltic and syringe pump)
d) Various interfaces: USB, serial port (9-pin), RJ45 (TCP/IP)
Supply unit has a connction to an external 24 VDC power supply.

The system has a log-file, readable via the various interfaces. Attached with a time-tag of a internal real-time-clock (UTC), which is capacitor-buffered.
In the scope of the delivery a 15 m long capillary and an additional detector, which can be placed up to 15 m away from the table-top unit. Also, all necessary connection cable, capillary tubings, fittings and peristaltic tubings are contained.
