The moisture at surfaces of solid and pulverized materials can be measured by light at the Near Infrared. For many applications, it is of great advantage if this can be achieved in a contact-free, quick and continuous manner. The Reflection-photometer is an appropriate instrument. For example, moisture monitoring is possible for cellulose, plastic granulates, silica, building materials, but also foils, paper, detergents and nourishment or else, pharmaceutical and chemical substances with pulverized or granular consistency. The Reflection-photometer consists of the evaluation device, a measuring head with light source and the filter for the measuring wavelength. Technical specification Brochure
Reflection photometers operate reliably and are suitable for measuring of transparent materials as foils and films. But also at the production of salt and sugar, the reflection photometers make the required control of the degree of whiteness possible. The versatile instruments measure color shades in case of textiles and plastic materials. Depending on the configuration, the extremely durable instruments are suitable for the random sample measurement, the operation in laboratories or for the continuous measurement directly above a conveyor belt or a chute.
