Description | CHD8 has a role in chromatin dynamic, transcription and cell survival in which is interacts with p53 to regulate cell cycle genes. It has been associated with developmental disorders like ASD (autism spectrum disorders). CHD8+/− iPSC were derived from skin fibroblasts of patients with 22q11.2 deletion and diagnosis of a psychotic disorder in which CRISPR/Cas9-mediated CHD8 knockout was performed. It may be utilized for studies in development. Growth Properties: Adherent Morphology: Polygonal |
Concentration | 106cells/vial |
Pluripotency | 1) Pluripotency was confirmed by immunocytochemistry for iPSC markers Tra-1-60, Tra-1-81, SSEA3, and SSEA4; 2) Western blots used to identify the knockout of CHD8 |
Propagation | Matrigel (BD) coating is required for cell adhesion to the culture vessels. Grow cells in Matrigel-coated culture vessels with the following conditions. The base medium for this cell line is mTeSR1 (Stem Cell Technologies). Atmosphere: air: 95%, CO₂: 5%; Temperature: 37.0°C. |
