Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Reconstitute in sterile distilled water or aqueous buffer containing 0.1% BSA to a concentration of 0.1-1.0mg/ml. Stock solutions should be apportioned into working aliquots and stored at ≤-20℃. Further dilutions should be made in appropriate buffered solutions.

Background
TNFSF18, also named as AITRL, is a cytokine that belongs to the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) ligand family and it is encoded by the TNFSF18 gene. This cytokine is a ligand for receptor TNFRSF18/AITR/GITR. It has been shown to modulate T lymphocyte survival in peripheral tissues. It is also found to be expressed in endothelial cells, and is thought to be important for interaction between T lymphocytes and endothelial cells. Recombinant human TNFSF18 is a 14.3kDa protein, containing 126 amino acid residues and it shares 56% and 60%a.a. sequence identity with murine and rat TNFSF18, respectively.
